Madam Defarge's Needlecraft Emporium

 

There is a debate among crafters whether knitting from a pattern or embroidering someone else's design is creative. I may not be an artist, but I start with raw materials, add my time and skills and after a while I have created something useful. It makes me happy and usually keeps me out of trouble.

At the end of (almost) each and every day I have something tangible to show for how I spent my time.

 

I am a member of the Connecticut River Artisans cooperative. Our gallery is located at 5 West Main Street in Chester, Connecticut. It'sagreat place to shop for fine art, creative wearables, home decor and gifts.
